AUCTION DOA

Credit is given for auction paid price ONLY.  You may use the credit in auction for corals.  However, RETAIL sales are NOT prorated for DOA, credit is ONLY given for price paid.

for example.  If you won a Dragon Soul torch ONE HEAD for 100$ and it arrives DOA you have a $100 credit you DO NOT HAVE a credit for a dragon soul torch that retails for ~$250 per head.
 

Livestock Shipping:

The minimum order for FREE shipping is $400.00. Shipping charges do not count towards minimum order value.

Combined shipping rates are available on all orders.

We ship all fish in insulated boxes with compressed oxygen and water conditioner. Hot/Cold packs are included as deemed necessary, however, there are no additional packing charges included in the final cost.

Tiger Lily’s House of Fish guarantees Live Arrival however, no Livestock items received by the Buyer are guaranteed past the arrival and acceptance of the Buyer.

Fish and or Coral that die during shipping will be replaced with the same fish or coral only, shipping fees are NOT included and will be charged on replacement order. For more information please see the DOA / Damaged section below.

 

DOA / Damaged and Unhealthy Arrival:

Tiger Lily’s House of Fish certifies that all fish are in good condition, are healthy and are eating when they are packaged and leave our facility for shipping.

Tiger Lily’s House of Fish guarantees live arrival. Live arrival is guaranteed on overnight, next day delivery – as long as they are delivered within the time frame specified by the shipping carrier and received by the buyer on FIRST ATTEMPT time-stamped delivery.

The Buyer acknowledges that if the livestock item arrived DOA, Damaged or in Poor Health, it is the buyer’s responsibility to take a minimum of two pictures of the fish or coral – in the original, sealed bag when the shipment is opened. Applicable photographs must be received by Tiger Lily’s House of Fish within 2 hours of the time-stamped package delivery. Releasing fish from the delivery bag without communication and photographs ends the “Arrival” period and also implies that the livestock received were in acceptable condition when they arrived therefore VOIDS DOA policy.

Tiger Lily’s House of Fish will not under any circumstance replace fish or coral that have died due to inadequate acclimation, poor water quality/conditions, incompatibility with new tank mates, inappropriate diet, or if they have been left in the delivery bags for extended periods of time.

Please call us right away to discuss fish or coral that are not DOA but you have concerns regarding the health of your new fish or coral. It is important that we help you identify the problem right away. We are always enthusiastically happy to work with our customers, especially when it comes to the health of their fish and coral!

We ask that all valid claims be made within 2 hours of delivery. After 2 hours of delivery, all DOA claims may be void and relies solely on the discretion of Tiger Lily’s House of Fish. All claims must be submitted via email tigerlilyshouseoffihs@gmail.com and accompanied with NO LESS than 2 clear phots showing the SEALED bag or container.  If the item is not clearly healthy or in clear water.  CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY (831) 726-5085

 

 

Protected and Prohibited Species:

The Buyer understands and acknowledges that Tiger Lily’s House of Fish is not responsible for knowing the buyer’s home state laws regarding the importation of aquatic livestock, including lists of conditional, restricted, and prohibited species. It is the sole responsibility of the Buyer to be aware of any restrictions and operate within their home state’s applicable laws when ordering and receiving any and all Livestock from Tiger Lily’s House of Fish. Tiger Lily’s House of Fish assumes no responsibility nor can be held liable for any fines incurred regarding the purchase, acceptance and keeping of any prohibited livestock by the buyer.

 

Refunds / Credits:

Tiger Lily’s House of Fish does not under any circumstance offer cash or card refunds for DOA shipments.  DOA credits are only redeemable for the same species of fish or coral on the next order pending their availability. Shipping charges are not covered by our DOA Policy.

 

Acclimation Guide:
Properly acclimating your newly arrived fish and coral is THE KEY to making sure they adapt to their new home quickly and safely. Proper acclimation can make the difference between a thriving, healthy fish and one that struggles or gets sick soon after arrival. We have developed these acclimation procedures for your benefit. Failure to acclimate your fish according to these guidelines will void our guarantee. 

If you receive a fish/coral that appears to be very stressed do not immediately drip acclimate. ALWAYS float the bags on the surface for 15 minutes with your lights off to allow them to “peacefully temperature acclimate”. Do not open the bags at this time.

After temperature acclimation, open the bag and carefully drain the water from the bag out into a bucket while keeping the fish in the bag. After most of the water in the bag has been eliminated, immediately add the fish to the aquarium. *Adding a small amount of YOUR aquarium water to the bag and acclimate another 5 minutes.  Then carefully add the fish or coral to your aquarium.  NEVER ADD bag water to your aquarium.

We recommend keeping your lights off for the remainder of the day to allow your new addition(s) to settle in with minimal stress. Generally, it is best to wait to feed your new fish until the following day.
